Owning Our Future Selves
Hi! Welcome to Discovering Me. Crystal and Adam are the first coaches to bring coaching services into schools in Canada!
Crystal's passion for personal development, an eagerness to understand and a growing curiosity to see 'what else is possible' began when she was a group home counselor for youth, at the age of 19. The circumstances and situations that she was exposed to led her to ask herself, "What is missing in human connection?" "What experiences contribute to our unconscious beliefs?" "What conversations need to take place to own our future selves?"

After leading a difficult transition in her own life, becoming a stepmother of 2 young children and the passing of her estranged father, she continued to question her own beliefs, values and perceptions. She recognized that counseling was exceptional to talk about her grief and despair but she needed to find out how to establish what she wanted her life to look like in the future.
She became a certified coach through Canada Coach Academy and developed Discovering Me. Together, Crystal and her team are now offering a variety of programs tailored to meet the needs of youth, teachers, and parents individually but also to collectively discover their challenges, what works for them and help with life transitions.
Our Story
We have been counseling and coaching youth and families for the last 20 years!
We pride ourselves on our commitment to helping youth discover more about themselves, develop their resilience during teenage development and learn how to believe in themselves. We each have 4 children so we understand the difficulties that can arise during these developmental stages. We know that coaching paves the path to owning their future selves and committing to their desired outcomes.

Since founding Discovering Me, we have developed transformative programs that help students, teachers and parents grasp a better understanding of their current circumstances while providing a glimpse at what else is possible. We believe that a culture based on understanding, curiosity and vulnerability can only strengthen our community and establish stronger ties to our fellow friends and family.
